واکسیناسیون سگ ها
واکسن های الزامی :
که به آنها واکسن های هسته یا اصلی نیز می گویند این واکسن ها در تمام دنیا با یک برنامه و یکسان تزریق
می شوند.
واکسن های اصلی سگ شامل :
دیستمپر
هپاتیت عفونی سگ ها
پاراانفولانزا
پاروویروس
هاری
واکسن های اختیاری:
که به آنها غیر هسته یا غیر اصلی نیز می گویند
مثل لپتوسپیروز
اولین تزریق واکسن در 6-8 هفتگی می باشد
تزریق بعدی 9-11 هفتگی و بعدی 12-16 هفتگی انجام می گیرد.
در نژاد های مستعد به پارو ویروس مثل ژرمن شپرد و روتوایلر دوز چهارم بعد از اخرین واکسن نیز توصیه می شود.
بنابراین تا پایان چهار ماهگی حداقل سه بار می بایست واکسن های الزامی تکرار شوند اگر مابین این تزریق ها وقفه بی افتد امکان ابتلا به بیماری وجود دارد.
بعد از اخرین تزریق تا یکسال پس از آن تزریق واکسن لازم نیست. یکسال بعد، تزریق یادآوری یا همان بوستر انجام می شود و بعد از آن یادآوری ها هر سال یکبار تکرار می شوند.
اگر سگ بیشتر از 16 هفته سن دارد و تا حالا واکسن نخورده یا مشخص نیست که واکسن خورده است یا نه یک دوز واکسن الزامی (بجز هاری) در اولین مراجعه و سپس 3 الی 4 هفته بعد از آن همراه با واکسن هاری تکرار می کنیم و سپس بصورت سالیانه تکرارها انجام می گیرند.
برنامه واکسیناسون هاری بسته به توصیه کارخانه سازنده و میزان شیوع بیماری هاری در آن منطقه دارد.
مثلا بعضی از واکسن های هاری هر 3 سال یکبار هستند(البته این نوع واکسن در ایران معمول نیست) و بعضی 1 سال یکبار تکرار می شود.
